Find the right tennis activity for you
Would you like to give tennis a try?
You do not need to choose a particular type of coaching before getting in touch. Let TYP Tennis School know whether you are completely new, returning after a break or already experienced. They can help you find out whether a trial lesson, coaching group or social session is suitable. Ask the tennis school directly about dates, availability and conditions.
Looking for an activity for your child?
For children, enjoyment of movement and ball games comes first. The Kids Club offers a playful introduction. When enquiring, mention your child’s age and previous experience. TYP can help you choose the right activity. If your child later wants regular coaching or to join a team, our junior tennis page has more information.
Would you like to play regularly with others?
Adults without a regular playing partner may enjoy the guided social tennis sessions. Members can also meet at our Friday recreational sessions and arrange their own matches. Recreational and team tennis have different formats: in recreational tennis, you arrange your games yourselves; in team tennis, you join a team in organised league competition.
Coaching, membership and bookings: who can help?
TYP Tennis School handles coaching groups, trial lessons and coaching fees. The club answers questions about membership, fees and club life. Courts are booked through Courtbooking. Club membership and coaching are separate arrangements, so check which activities you would like to use and their costs before deciding.
